About Us
Our company loves creating and building amazing landscape gardens, we enjoy the process, working with great people and clients.
My background is one of overseas travel from the young age of seventeen, five of those years spent in Africa (Kenya, Botswana, Somalia, Sudan, South Africa, Egypt), three years in Europe (London, Holland, Spain, France), where I started my garden design build career.
I’ve worked for one of the world’s leading art dealers, promoted and directed large multi media music events and published a magazine called Planet now held in Wellington’s Turnbull Library and recognized as playing a leading role in 90’s youth culture in New Zealand.
My passion is music travel dance and beautiful gardens. I have spent the last twenty years focused solely on landscape projects on Waiheke Island, I was first brought to the island by a client to repair there leaking water feature and ended up working, developing there coastal headland property over a six year period, building tracks, sheds, accommodation cottages, drainage, paving and revege native planting of the cliffs.
We now specialise in cliff face tracks and construction, retaining and stabilising cliff face terrain, using native plants and materials, opening up previously unusable land.
The Exposed Terrain team are the most respected, hardworking landscape crew on Waiheke Island, we will transform your property and your experience of Island Life.
Won gold, merit, bronze at Ellerslie Flower show with garden installations in three events – work published in water garden and numerous landscape magazine publications.
